The annual Black Butte trip took place this past week and what fun it was. We all took turns cooking, I did a family summer tradition of ribs! Check out this view behind Rachel. That is what is known as Black Butte and we hiked up to the very top of it. It took about 2 hours and every one made it even Grandma and Grandpa. Yahoo! Although we were all sore in the gluttes the next day. Good thing we had a hot tub! We biked everywhere and played lots of tennis. It is now becoming a yearly event that all the Carter's from the Robert Carter family get together and do this at the end of summer. The kids just love spending the time together right before it is time to go back to school!
