Oh my gosh my birthday came and went and inspite of all the craziness around here I had a great time. Rachel is still sick, Austin had two soccer games in the most competitive tournament in Oregon. They won and today is the finals! Paul was out of town and came home at 12:30 last night. I had friends and family call, received two bouquets of flowers, got lots of little fun little gifts and cards from friends and sat up til one o'clock with three other friends trying different drinks, (Marguerite, moieties, and grayhounds), gossiped, watched a movie and laughed til we cried. Oh, yeah and from Paul I got a portable XM-Radio/Mp3 player. It is so cool. I have it mounted in the car, in the home and can walk around with it in my ears. I can't wait to get all my favorites saved and all my songs saved that I like. I am truly blessed with lots of love.
So, at 44 here is what I know for sure. A loving family and loving friends are the most valuable treasures one could have. There just isn't anything in the whole universe that could replace this and to think it doesn't cost anything. Or does it? Something to ponder!
